Green Hill Climb 2021: Autogas Italia winner of the
Manufacturer Award

We are proud to announce the victory of Autogas Italia in the Manufacturers category of the
2021 Italian Green Hill Climb Championship, the race for cars powered with ecological
propulsions that put the focus on sustainable mobility.

AUTOGAS ITALIA BIOMETHANE SYSTEM

The winner of the championship, Nicola Ventura, got the title with a 124 Abarth Spider
equipped with the 100% renewable biomethane Autogas Italia system, developed ad-hoc to
have excellent performances even in more difficult conditions (unlike regularity competitions).
The Abarth 124 has outlined thanks to the remarkable performance of the engine system (the
same product present on the markets in which the company operates), giving a hard time
even to the vehicles powered by petrol.
“For this specialty we decided to focus on our 124 Abarth Spider with Autogas Italia system
with 100% renewable biomethane.”

GREEN HILL CLIMB 2021 - COMO

The last race on 4 heats of the 2021 Italian Green Hill Climb championship took place in the
green setting of the Province of Como.
Twenty-Five cars driven by Rally and Regularity Champions and young drivers have
challenged in these last four heats of average uphill regularity.
Green driving skills, low speeds, and precision in respecting average taxes are of paramount
importance in this competition to juggle the challenging hairpin bends of Como. Skill,
experience and high technical value were in fact the winning weapons of Nicola Ventura
throughout the championship.

ECO GREEN

The Green Hill Climb took place on July 17 and 18 during the “Lake Como ECO GREEN” which
is part of the event dedicated to ecological cars organized by ACI Como with the Patronage of
the Lombardy Region and the patronage of the major institutions of the territory.

For AUTOGAS ITALIA it was fun and inspiring to participate in this event alongside
professionals, enthusiasts, but above all young talents who are approaching this specialty.
These results are an excellent stimulus for our technical team to improve research and
development every day in order to produce increasingly performing plants.
